Raised in East Nashville - He was immersed from an early age in a culture where music & songwriting are part of everyday life. Growing up surrounded by friends, mentors & peers like Chauncey “Cronyk Illness” Smith, Jason “Jelly Roll” DeFord & David “Young Buck” Brown, who would all later become influential figures in today’s music industry. Jason shared & absorbed the lessons of authenticity & storytelling that continue to define his work.
Blending the lyrical depth of poetry with the raw emotion of Southern-rooted music, Jason has developed a style that is both heartfelt & unflinching. His writing explores themes of resilience, memory, & identity, carrying the cadence of Nashville while pushing into new territory.
